New for fall!

Cottontail bunny
bug &

A few days ago, Sherri wrote and mentioned she missed the illustrated envelopes that came with my cards in the past....I loved those envelopes, too.

I've been spoiled by the beautiful quality envelopes Hallmark produced with my "Spoonful of Stars" line and with the "Papyrus" line of cards and envelopes (woodland animals).

A few days ago, I was looking at cards embellished with gorgeous additions like glitter and foil.    Sob! I miss those days when cards had all the "extras".  Cards are not as popular as in years past.  Many card companies have cut back on all the extras.  The cost to add illustrated envelopes would be at least an additional 1.00 per card.
Sherri suggested using stamps to decorate the envelopes.
People can have fun making and designing their own envelopes.
I've added two more new stamps to my new stamp collection,
the kitten and the bunny cotton tail. (due in the shop very soon)
With a dot of red ink, you can add a tiny red tongue to the kitten drinking milk out of the bowl.

So, my question to you is this...

what would you like to see in stamps?
like bears, Christmas, fairies, animals ?

Do you prefer the wooden block or the handle?
Would you buy only the rubber part (for less) and add your own block?
Because stamps are made in small runs, my cost is high.
These stamps cost about 10.00 each to make.
Compared to other stores (where they are mass produced) this price seems high.
Is $14.99 is too high? - the retail price would be even higher, making it cost prohibitive
are stamps still hot?
What are you looking for in a stamp?

What do you think?
I truly value your opinion

Hi lBecky - Love your adorable drawings and art - How about hedgehogs as stamps? Do you have fabric available that I might be able to purchase?

Thanks, I Googled my name and fabric and came up with a few links.
or just go to etsy and put in Becky Kelly Fabric
Also, you can try Bing and search for the same. My fabrics are sold in quilting shops, and you could try Harpers fabrics. I used to have active links on my website.

I love the stamps! Price is a bit high for a small stamp though. I have seen a lot of stamps for scrapbooking done as clear art stamps where you place it on a reusable plastic block. I would like to see some fairy's. Maybe a Christmas tree with a few little birds or animals. Any of your drawings would be delightful! Thanks!

I wish the stamps were less. The price to product them is very high...they are not mass produced. I'll have to look into the plastic block. I was checking them out and want to make sure they would be top quality. Stampers! do you remove the clear stamp and then put it back. I'm not sure how that works?

I don't think of the cost when I buy a stamp that I Love...A good quality stamp last Forever ... I have seen them on wooden blocks from anywhere (tiny $7.99 to large $25.99) and if it is a picture that you love and would use it is so worth the price... I would love to say animals and fairies ..they are something that could be used year round making the cost (cost effective) and maybe even help bring back people writing letters the real way. I love to send hand written letters versus an e-mail or face book message, it is so much more personal than just typing on a key pad.. and it helps teach my 4 kids what I learned as a child.. sure stamps to mail letters have gone up over the years but if you are writing a friend or loved one aren't they worth it ??
